WBFC radio is owned by Combs Broadcasting, Inc. a corporation established
under the laws of the state of Kentucky. WBFC (Stanton's Christian Voice)
went on the air October 14th, 1998 featuring Southern Gospel music and
church programming. WBFC is the first Christian owned, operated and
formatted radio station in Stanton. In 1998 WBFC broadcast at a frequency of
1470 AM with a power of 1000 watts. WBFC still features Southern Gospel,
Praise and Worship and some Bluegrass gospel music while continuing to
have local and national broadcasters.  WBFC still operates at 1470 on the AM
dial, and 1000 watts of power serving the Greater Central Kentucky area.

Ye Ole Country Peddler opened in June 1973 at 1255 Natural Road in Slade.  
Owned and operated by Beenny and Thelma Bryant.  One employee, Linda
Alexander, manges Ye Ole Country Peddler through the week.  We make
fudge in our shop and have over 30 flavors.  In the fall we have our famous
Pumpkin Pie Fudge.  We are a Christmas shop all year long with many
collectibles and gifts for all occasions, including yankee Candles.  Ye Ole
Country P{eddler at Slade has been a Department 56 Gold Key Dealer for over
15 years and a Fenton Art Glass Showcase Dealer since 1995.  We are open
seven days a week form the first Monday in March through the New Year
weekend and weekends in January and February.  Come by Ye Ole Country
Peddler, sample our fudge, and enjoy shopping close to home.
